About

Andiamo Places is a free travel app that helps with every part of a trip — planning, traveling, remembering and sharing — on iPhone, Android and the web. It builds your schedule around real opening hours, so your itinerary never sends you to a closed museum.

Planning

  • Create a trip with AI, tailored to your criteria — or from voice input.
  • Use AI to create walks, hikes or bicycle routes with directions on Google Maps.
  • Find trails and paths and add them to the guide.
  • Use and personalize any of the hundreds of existing guides.
  • Import from JSON, CSV, KML, KMZ, GPX and TCX files, Google Maps lists and Google Timeline.
  • Extract destinations from a pasted confirmation email, a PDF or a photo of one.
  • Get open and close times for every place; your schedule highlights places that are closed.
  • Use Recalculate Schedule when things change.
  • Add text, images, audio, video, PDFs and links with the built-in editor.
  • Automatically get photos and Wikipedia information for your places.
  • Search for places using AI, Google, Flickr or Wikipedia.
  • Group and categorize places; tag the must-sees; keep a bucket list.
  • Store travel documents and make a packing checklist.

Traveling

  • Follow the itinerary or the schedule, day by day.
  • Get directions between places, and for walks, hikes and cycling routes.
  • Get answers to travel questions using AI.
  • Weather, climate and flight status.
  • See your location on the map and track it.
  • Move events, days or the start date in a tap.
  • Tag places as visited or favorites; filter by visited, day, group, category and more.
  • Quick links to images, videos, articles, Street View and Google Maps for every place.
  • Take your trip offline with Organic Maps.
  • Track expenses and split costs.

Remembering

  • Create a photo journal automatically from your trip photos.
  • Replace stock photos with your own; add more photos to places.
  • See statistics on the places, countries and continents you've visited (Wanderlist).
  • Replay your trip, and link a place to a video of the moment you passed it.
  • Import a GPS track from Gaia GPS or Organic Maps.
  • Order a printed photo book.

Collaborating and sharing

  • Plan together by editing the same guide; comment on places and events.
  • Send a link to your trip or travel journal.
  • Export your trip as a video, an HTML page, a PDF, JSON or CSV.

The name

In Italian, “Andiamo” means “Let’s go” — so the app’s name is “Let’s Go Places!” We also call it the Andiamo Travel App, because travel guides and journals are its best-known use; it works for anything where places, maps and schedules matter.

Credits

Many itineraries come from Bing Maps, and many images and descriptions from Wikipedia. Photos come from various sources, including Wikimedia Commons contributors under Creative Commons licences, and may be resized or cropped.
